Makaira SEa game reels are built using the same materials, standards and 4D system that have given the standard gold Makaira a reputation as a world class game reel.
It's not just the special edition anodising or yellowfin tuna etched into the side plate that sets this reel apart though. Open spool bearings with TSI-301 oil decreases free spool resistance by 2 times and when you switch to the lower speed on the 20, 30 and 50 you are geared lower than on the gold version, giving you additional grunt for hauling trophy fish from the depths. To back up this additional power the 20 and 30 size also come fitted with the MK-50 handle arm and knob. The Makaira SEa defines precision, performance and power. Game on!
