Rod Warranty & Rod Expeditor Program

TT Rod Warranty Policy

 

All TT rods purchased from authorised Tackle Tactics retailers come with a 12-month warranty against manufacturing defects starting from the date of purchase. During the warranty period, Tackle Tactics will repair or replace any part found to be defective at no charge. All warranty claims must be approved by Tackle Tactics.

To be eligible for our manufacturer's warranty, you are required to provide proof of purchase when submitting a claim.

WARRANTY ISSUES DO NOT COVER

  • Rods acquired from non-approved Tackle Tactics retailers or retailers outside of Australia.
  • Rod breakages due to negligence or misuse, including but not limited to, high sticking, improper storage, fractures from boat rod holders or exceeding the recommended line or casting weight for the rod.
  • General wear from normal use & cosmetic marks.
  • Rods that have been modified or altered after purchase.
  • Rods that have been serviced by an unauthorised technician.

 

Warranty Claims for International Customers

Tackle Tactics is an Australian based company and can only process warranty claims that have been sold within Australian authorised retailers. All international warranty claims must be handled through their original international retailer or distributor from where the product was purchased.


How to Make a Warranty Claim

  • Return your rod to the authorised retailer where it was originally purchased.
  • The retailer will assess the rod in accordance with Tackle Tactics warranty guidelines and determine whether the rod has a manufacturing defect.
  • If the rod is deemed to be defective and covered under warranty, the retailer will arrange the repair or replacement of the rod.


 

TT Rod Expeditor Program 

 

The Tackle Tactics Expeditor Program offers a simple replacement process for customers whose rods have been damaged by accident. The Expeditor Program covers any accidental breakages that may occur within 2-years of the original rod purchase.

Expeditor Program Details

  • The replacement rod is provided at 50% off the Recommended Retail Price (RRP).
  • The broken rod is to be surrendered and the section of rod with the model number returned to Tackle Tactics (see image below).
  • Broken rods can be no more than 2 years (24 months) old.
  • A valid proof of purchase from an authorised Tackle Tactics retailer must be provided, showing rod model, date and location of purchase.
  • Customers are responsible for covering all shipping costs associated with the replacement process.
  • Should a rod become unavailable for any reason, a like substitute will be supplied at the discretion of Tackle Tactics.
  • Expeditor program only applies to rods purchased in Australia and replacement rods can only be shipped to addresses within Australia.

Expeditor Claim

To start a claim, customers can either return the broken rod to the authorised retailer where it was originally purchased, or complete the form below. If returned to an authorised retailer, the retailer will manage the claim under the terms of the program described above. If completing the form below, Tackle Tactics will contact you regarding the next steps.

Expeditor Process

  • Submit your claim with a valid proof of purchase, either directly with Tackle Tactics or through an authorised retailer.
  • Once the claim is approved, return the section of the rod with model number to Tackle Tactics, at your expense.
  • After receiving the broken rod section, Tackle Tactics will provide an invoice for the replacement rod, including shipping costs.
  • Once paid, the replacement rod will be sent to your address or local retailer for pick-up.

Tackle Tactics reserves the right to review and deny claims that do not meet the program's requirements.
